Can't put a finger on why things are going wrong? Perhaps it's time to look inside of yourself instead of the external factors. Enter - Self Sabotage.
We put so much pressure and weight on ourselves without even realising it.
Are you too hard on yourself?
Do you constantly think you should be doing more?
Do you compare yourself to others, even if you say you don't?
I invite you to see 4 ways you could be self sabotaging and how you have the power to stop it.

You put yourself down for doing too 'little', and compare how much you have done to other people.
You follow people on social media that makes you feel bad about yourself.
You feel like you should be further along than you are.
You aren't honest with yourself.
Now, pointing these factors out might make you aware, but it won't stop them. That's where your work has to come in!
So what can you do to relieve that weight?
Well number 1, unfollow those people that make you feel down about how you look or how productive you are. Yes, even if you've been following them for ages or they are 'mutuals'. Not one bit of extra engagement on your Instagram is worth a dent in your mental health. Click unfollow to those accounts and follow the path to a happier you.
Second of all, progress ISN'T linear. You aren't going to start something and be immediately good at it in 4 weeks. Building progress takes time, it takes failures and it takes work. It's okay that you could do something better last week and it feels harder this week. Progress is up and down.
You are not a machine. Productivity isn't how much you do in the morning! You can do one thing in a week and still be making progress. Even if you are not as productive at times, does that make you any less of a person? Guilt shouldn't be your main motivation to do things. Take a step back and rethink what tasks you have and the best way you can do them.
Don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20.
Lastly, it's important to have these conversations with yourself. If you know you are doing these things but are glazing over them because you don't have 'time' to slow down, these can lead to a burn out. Theres nothing better than self development!
I hope this is encouraging for you. I'm there cheering you on!
Love and smiles,
Bethany x
